Her Beauty With a Purpose project is ”SAFE Homes For Children In Foster Care”. SAFE stands for the four greatest needs of the foster care system in our country: Stability, Allocation, Family, and Education. A child enters into the foster care system every two minutes in the United States. In one year, 670,000 children will spend time in the system. Currently, welfare organizations across the country are scrambling to find enough qualified homes. In Indiana alone, there are more children in the welfare system than in any surrounding state. These children are removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or trauma and need SAFE homes to help them heal.
