Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has confirmed the government is preparing a stimulus package - thought to be worth at least $10 billion - to combat the growing spread of coronavirus. Unions have urged the government to provide funds for casual workers - who are not entitled to sick leave and thus would not be paid if they were forced to self isolate.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, one in four Australian workers are on casual arrangements.
