The ones from Germany were particularly impressed by the government's transparency.

Kim Jae-hee has more on the perspective from the outside looking in.
With coronavirus cases spiking in South Korea, media outlets from all over the world have been keeping a close eye on how the country has been handling the outbreak,... and many have been impressed by Korea's response.
Media outlets in Germany have praised South Korea's "transparency".
Spiegel online said the South Korean government is not only working to provide great quality medical care but is also focusing on being as transparent as possible.
It added that this kind of approach can give healthcare professionals around the world important clues about new virus.
And Frankfurter Rundschau online compared how South Korea and China have responded to the outbreak.
Citing an expert, it said the reason for the high number of reported infections in South Korea is because of the country's excellent diagnostic capabilities, free press and democratic system.
Over in the U.S., ABC citing global health experts said the speed and scope of South Korea's coronavirus diagnostic capability was "impressive and significant", and that no other country, not even the U.S., could match it.
It also gave a detailed explanation of South Korea's drive-thru centers, saying the operation effectively shortens testing time by having drivers get checked without having to leave their car and medics not having to change their quarantine suits.
The Washington Post reported that while South Korea had tested tens of thousands of people, the U.S. had only tested a few hundred people,... and raised concerns that the small number of infections in the U.S. may be due to limited testing rather than the spread of the virus.
In the UK, the BBC said that the South Korean government is sending text messages to alert its citizens on the confirmed coronavirus cases, and that medics and hospitals across the nation have been on standby for weeks.
It stressed that despite fears of the virus, many South Koreans believe the country was well prepared.
