Expanding Healthcare Options with Health Reimbursement Arrangements

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) hosted the Healthcare Innovation Industry Day to promote CMS’ initiatives on individual coverage health reimbursement arrangements (ICHRAs), interoperability and price transparency.
In this video, subject matter experts involved in the HRA rulemaking process from CMS and the Departments of Labor and Treasury provide an overview of the new HRA regulations. The presentation includes a historical background, operational requirements, and CMS tools that are available to assist employers interested in offering an ICHRA and is followed by a question and answer session to further clarify operational issues.
