& Mathias Pastor ( Director at The Family

10M users, €150m raised, almost 300 employees in both NYC & Paris - we’re talking about a tremendous success here. Who’s behind it?

Dashlane is the world’s leading password manager and online protection app, gathering all your passwords in a safe place to navigate easily on the Internet without the need to remember them all. Basically, it helps you have an effortless navigation experience on the Internet ;)

Still, effortless isn’t the word we’d use to describe Dashlane’s journey. It took Emmanuel Schalit, its CEO, a big leap of faith and a tremendous work ethic. He first managed to deal with personal risks, leaving a prestigious position at CBS Outdoor (CEO France) to build a cybersecurity startup. Then he had to keep growing as a CEO and scale the business to large volumes.

We’ve always wanted to know how he did it - how he evolved personally in the role, how he decided to make the first move, how he handles his personal & professional life, how he scales his company after such big rounds.
