As frontline partners in the fight against COVID-19, general practitioners and private medical specialists will receive one million masks set aside for them by the government. A centralised platform will also be set up to enable Singaporeans to coordinate ground-up initiatives aimed at supporting healthcare workers and those affected. These measures were announced by the multi-ministry taskforce at a press briefing on Feb 11.
