Establishing PRI Neutrality Through Ground 'Sense': A Simple Demonstration

Establishing PRI Neutrality Through Ground 'Sense': A Simple Demonstration All Postural Restoration programming starts with establishing neutrality. Neutrality represents a body at rest. A body that isn't "stuck in right stance". A body that is free to move without restriction.

Neutrality is based on the body's ability to do something different, and the brain's ability to sense that something different via the proper sensory input.

This is a video demonstration of what I mean by grounding. When someone can't ground on the left side, they will be stuck in the left AIC right BC pattern, or even with an extra layer of patterning like the RTMCC or PEC patterns.

I take my friend from left AIC right BC to neutrality through allowing her to experience her body differently and by changing the sensory input that her brain is making to produce muscular output.
