Moist Chocolate and Vanilla Layer Cake:
- 110 gr Softened Butter (1 stick)
- 40 gr Coconut Oil/ flavorless oil (3 Tbsp)
- 200 gr Sugar (1 cup )
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 LARGE Eggs
- 250 gr All Purpose Flour (1 3/4 cups Flour)
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 180 gr Buttermilk ( 3/4 )
- 1/2 tsp Salt
I used a 6 inch pan in this video and each layer had 120 grams of batter. You can also use a 7 or 8 inch pan but you'll have to add a bit more batter to each layer . Baking time will vary so check each cake layer every 8 min.
Divide the batter in half and to one of the batters add:
- 50 gr unsweetened Cocoa Powder ( 6 tbsp )
- 120 gr additional Warm Milk ( 1/2 cup)
Nutella Glaze:
- 100 gr Heavy Cream ( 3.5 ounces)
- 100 gr Chocolate ( 3.5 ounces)
- 100 gr Nutella ( 3.5 ounces)
